  • Do you conduct criminal background checks?

    Yes. Every applicant that passes the interview process is required to be fingerprinted and must pass a criminal background check. Under no circumstances do we allow the home care aide to work until their background check is returned and accepted.
  • Are your employees bonded or insured?

    Yes! Our clients can have peace of mind knowing that Gareda will cover against losses that may occur as a direct result of our services.
  • Where are you located?

    We have multiple locations spread across Cook County. We have locations in the suburbs as well as in the city of Chicago.

  • What area do you serve?

    Gareda services all cities, townships and neighborhoods that fall within the boundaries of Will and  Cook Counties.
  • How can I reach Gareda when your office is closed?

    Gareda has someone available 24/7 to address your needs. You may call our office after hours to leave a message or follow the prompts to speak to a representative.
  • Can I receive more service hours than I am currently authorized for?

    Generally yes. However Gareda is only authorized by the referral source to serve the amount of hours set by a care plan. We can contact your referral source in an attempt to increase your service hours, but any additional hours not covered will have to be paid out of pocket.
